A brilliant design inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's principles, a model that even beginners can easily complete!

[Leonardo da Vinci's tourbillon escapement] (This refers to Leonardo da Vinci's...)

Inspired by the principle of Da Vinci, the tourbillon escapement is a horological mechanism. An escapement is a device in a watch used to control the movement of a gear train and transfer energy from the movement to the balance wheel or oscillating weight. The tourbillon is a component of a mechanical watch used to improve accuracy by minimizing errors caused by gravity.

The assembly process requires no glue, paint, or batteries. All you need is a careful eye to ensure that all gears and parts are installed in the correct positions, and you can create a decorative item that is both deep and elegant!

The tourbillon (French: Tourbillon) is a device in a mechanical watch movement, invented in 1795 by the renowned Swiss watchmaker Abraham Breguet. The tourbillon was originally designed for pocket watches because when a pocket watch is placed vertically in a pocket or worn around the neck, gravity affects the oscillation speed of the balance wheel, causing errors. The principle of the tourbillon is essentially to design the balance spring, fork lever, and escapement system to operate on the same axis. The tourbillon rotates continuously during operation to reduce the effects of gravity.

However, with the rise of wristwatches in the 20th century, since wristwatches are not placed vertically for long periods of time, the tourbillon mechanism is no longer as important as that of pocket watches. But the tourbillon mechanism is extremely complex, and because the production cost and craftsmanship requirements are quite high, the tourbillon has become synonymous with high-end watches.
